Bread Halwa


Easy and delicious halwa. Honey is a must ingredient. The flavor of honey makes it delicious. Try out this; I am sure that you will like it
Ingredients
Bread Slice: 8 * Milk Bread will be more suitable/ can use any
Egg: 1
Sugar: ½ cup
Salt: a pinch
Cardamom powder: 1 tsp
Honey: 2 tbsp
Baking powder: 1tsp
Milk: 1 ½ cup (or as per consistency)
Maida 2 tbsp
Method of Preparation
Beat egg well. Then add sugar to it.
Beat well and add milk, baking powder,honey, salt and maida.
Mix well and then add the bread pieces and blend well in a blender without forming lumps.
The consistency is of thick idli batter.
To get the consistency you can increase or decrease the amount of bread or milk.
Pour this in a greased baking tray.
Microwave to 5-10 minutes.
Baking time varies in oven.
You can check whether done by inserting a tooth pick.
When cooled cut into desired shapes.
Soft bread halwa is ready to serve.
